Linking a wallet

You link a wallet by signing a message to prove you own it. No funds move to link, and there’s no charge. You can also sign in and connect other accounts (email, Google, X, Discord, Telegram) — but a linked wallet is what enables true bike ownership and receiving prizes.

You don’t need a wallet to start playing. Link one when you want to own bikes or compete for prizes.

Your ENS name

If the wallet you sign in with holds an ENS name, you can take that exact name as your username — dots and all. A username with a dot in it always means the player proved they hold that name on-chain, which is why nobody else can type one. You can accept it during setup or later from Settings, and you can decline it and pick an ordinary handle instead.

Only your wallet’s primary ENS name qualifies, it must end in .eth, and it must use plain a-z, 0-9 and -. Names that start with a reserved word like admin or support are refused too — owning one isn’t the same as being staff. Names with look-alike characters from other alphabets are refused — otherwise someone could own a name that is visually identical to a famous one and pass as its holder. Emoji and non-Latin names can’t be used as usernames; you keep the helmet path.

ENS names can be sold. We re-check ownership when you sign in, so a name you no longer hold stops showing as verified — and its new owner can claim it.

Your ENS avatar

If that name has an avatar set, we offer it as your picture ahead of the helmet grid. Keep it and it becomes your avatar everywhere — header, leaderboard, referrals and garage. Pick a helmet instead and nothing changes from the usual setup.

We copy the picture onto our own servers rather than loading it from wherever you set it, so viewing another player’s avatar never sends your browser to a third party. https, data:, IPFS and NFT avatars all work; for an NFT we check you actually hold the token first, so an avatar you’ve since sold stops showing. PNG, JPEG, GIF and WebP are supported — SVG avatars are not. Anything we can’t fetch simply leaves you on the helmet grid.

Purchases

When purchases run in a supported currency, you pay on Robinhood Chain (chain ID 4663) — the game offers to add the network to your wallet if it is not there yet and the item is fulfilled on confirmation — and for NFT items, the token is minted to your wallet. Today the store runs on GEARS (see Store & Premium).

Prize payouts

Tournament and season prizes pay directly to your linked wallet at settlement. There is no custodial balance and no withdraw step — the platform never holds your crypto; payouts go straight out to you. That’s why a linked wallet is required to enter events. No personal information is ever placed on-chain.
