Bikes as NFTs
Higher-rarity bikes aren’t entries in our database that we can take away. They’re NFTs you genuinely own.
Only Rare, Epic and higher bikes are NFTs. Common bikes are sold in the store for GEARS and are never minted — they simply live in your garage. Everything below applies to the higher-rarity, minted bikes.
- Standard ERC-721 tokens on Base (an Ethereum Layer 2), in one shared collection.
- Held in your own wallet — self-custody, not a custodial account.
- Yours to keep, transfer, or resell on any compatible marketplace, where they display as one collection. Resale royalties are supported via the standard EIP-2981.
- Some editions are limited supply flagship bikes.
Cosmetic, always
Ownership is real, but the advantage is not. Bikes never change how you race — every bike shares identical competitive physics. What you own is the look, the rarity, and the ability to trade it, never a faster lap. See Bikes & Garage.
